Teppanyaki Quail

  • 2 Cup sweet and sour sauce
  • 30g Starch
  • 2 Eggs
  • White pepper
  • Salt
  • 500g Sliced quail breast
Sauce Ingredients:
  • ½ Cup vegetable oil
  • ½ Cup soya sauce
  • 1 Spoon grated ginger
  • 1 Spoon grated thyme
  • 3 Sliced red & green pepper
  • 2 Sliced onions
  • Spice-up the quail with white pepper and starch
  • Then carefully meld it with eggs.
  • Fry until it’s golden.
  • To prepare the sauce, heat the oil and add onion until it heats.
  • Add garlic, ginger, and toss for a minute.
  • Add pepper, and toss.
  • Add fried quail and toss.
  • Add sweet and sour sauce, then soya sauce, salt, and white pepper.
  • Let it cook for five minutes.
  • Serve with noodles and white rice.
Served with vegetable rice and you can add a vegetable salsa using quail broth.
